Is Chair Yoga the right type of yoga for you?

Chair Yoga is perfect for those of you with mobility issues and arthritis/ME etc – or if you find getting up and down off the ground a little time consuming :). It includes a gentle warm up of the joints + chair yoga postures (just do what you can) & ends with deep guided relaxation. Yoga has many benefits, including strengthening and stretching the body, relaxing/focusing the mind and improving sleep.
When and where does the Chair Yoga session run?
Monday: Chair Yoga @ Penrhiwllan Hall, near Newcastle Emlyn – £6 per session or £20 for 4 sessions.
Time: 2-3pm + tea & chat 3-3.30pm (no classes on bank holidays)
We have a wonderful Chair Yoga Community now who are so supportive of each other. Having the tea & chat after class gives people the opportunity to spend some time getting to know others in the local area.
Address for Penrhiwllan Hall: A475, Penrhiwllan, Ceredigion SA44 5NN
What to wear and bring?
Wear something comfortable for stretching in, but also that you will be warm in as the hall can sometimes be a little chilly. Bring ‘grippy slippers’ or ‘grippy socks’ – this is where you have the grippy bits underneath so you don’t slip. Or you can just wear regular shoes, or bare feet – if you’re brave ;). Also bring a little blanket to place over your knees for the final relaxation, if you feel that would help keep you warm.
